A Crow: City of Angels is the 1996 sequel to cult movie and comic The Crow by James O'Barr. It was directed by Tim Pope.

It was conspicuous that a original film was attend exist as hard to watch. By owning a cult status gained by Brandon Lee's portrayal of the lead character, and indeed his dying filming the role, Pope would stand to convert the mass of fans that may not watch how else a sequel can be manufactured. A tagline for the film was "There will be another" & numerous say it wish there did does'nt keep around to exist as - it was badly received by critics, a general public & a devoted fans. These are rumoured that extensive studio editing saw a film changed from either the director's original vision sequentially to produce it flow other prefer a original, though this is maybe good backlash fallowing a unfortunate performance of the film.

Vincent Perez plays the human known as Ashe Corven world health organization is flushed alongside his boy by the gang of outlaw, similar to Eric Draven's death in the 1st film. When in the 1st moving-picture show, he is resurrected by a supernatural crow and seeks retaliation using his freshly discovered powers, killing his manslayer of these by a single until he faces off sustaining a crime boss world health organization'd ordered his dying. Along a way he encounters Sarah from either a 1st film, nowadays an adult (played by Mia Kirshner) and obsessed using a paranormal, and she assists him require his retaliation. A crime boss, Judah Earl (played by Richard Brooks), wants Ashe's powers for himself, however, & may run his worst for the two.

Many plot devices and sub-plots pop up in the novelization of the film, restoring some feel to the story, including explanation for Sarah & Ashe's connection.

Again there is a hard soundtrack & ii music legends keep around big acting roles throughout a film - Ian Dury and Iggy Pop as one of the other vicious manslayer.

A film was followed by The Crow: Salvation in 2000 and TV series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven.
